The IRENE User's Day was a day as it should be: a lot of sharing of experiences, ideas and news between the users and the developpers. The presentations and demo's showed a IRENE Pro that is ready for today's challenge in gas network calculation with the new functions for Green Gas. 

After a wonderfull lunch and a warm welcome by Peter Postma, Erik van den Brink showed the recent developments of last year and the new developments that are planned. Also he showed that there is an increasing number of companies that choose for IRENE Pro. And there are new developments in the application of IRENE Pro. This is well shown in the development of IRENE Pro Operations for gas network calculations of the active network. 

Bart Roelofs gave a sneak preview of the latest functionalities of IRENE Pro 4.1 (a beta version can allready be donwloaded from the website). The demo showed not only the expanded functionality but also that there is much attention for the user interface. This is best shown in the decrease of the number of mouse clicks needed. This makes the interface much more intuitive.

Kees Pulles showed the new IRENE Pro Green functions (part of the new IRENE Pro 4.1). Green gas is the challenge for todays gas networks, and IRENE Pro delivers you the tools to calculate and analyze the effects of Green Gas on your gas network.

During the break the new IRENE Pro could be tested by the users. This was also a moment for sharing experiences and ideas. 

After the break Kees Pulles showed the development of IRENE Pro Operations. IRENE Pro Operation contains all planned activities for the gas network and is therefore able to calculate the pressure for the concurrent situation.

Then there was time for the usere wishes and ideas in a discussion led by Peter Postma. Of course user wishes and ideas are always welcome, because, after all, IRENE Pro is developed for it's users.

During a drink we could look back on a fruitfull and sucesfull user's day.
